Sustainability is one of the foundations on which Tagra is built. 80% more energy efficient than traditional lighting, LED technology has been a key player in the path to reducing the carbon footprints of homes and businesses around the globe. It’s why we strive to make LED lighting accessible to everyone, and why we manufacture only the highest quality, durable products that don’t have to be replaced or returned.

But it’s not just our products that are eco-friendly. We pride ourselves on ensuring that every aspect of our business is ethical and sustainable, from the way we package our orders to the way we heat our offices. Here are just some of the steps we are taking to ensure that our business practises do as little harm to the environment as possible.

Packaging

We recycle all our cardboard by shredding it and using it to pack our parcels, eliminating the need for us to buy plastic packaging like bubble wrap.

Recycling

We recycle as much of our waste metal and cabling as possible and are always conscious to reduce and reuse many of our materials in production. Our office only uses recycled paper that is free from chlorine and bleach.

Heating and Electricity

We only use gas & electric from renewable sources. We are also investing in solar panels, even though we are based in rainy Manchester.

And of course – all our lighting is LED.
